Christie Ashbeck
Christie is an independently licensed professional counselor (LPC) providing counseling services to clients in Arizona, Colorado and Maine. In 2001, she started an equine therapy business called “Whole Horse Connection,” where she taught equine massage therapy, soft chiropractic manipulation and other alternative treatments to horse owners who wanted to heal not only their horse’s physical ailments, but also the disruptions in
their nervous systems caused by trauma.

Christie holds certifications in a variety of mental health treatment modalities, most notable Relational
Life Therapy (RLT), Eye-Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Post-Induction Therapy (PIT, Meadows Model). She has worked in a range of patient settings, including inpatient, residential and outpatient. She spent the majority of her internship and associate level years working at Rosewood Center for Eating Disorders and The Meadows in Wickenburg, a world-renowned treatment center for trauma and addiction founded by Pia Mellody, whom Terry cites frequently in his own recovery process and life work.

Relationship Bootcamp?

The Relationship Bootcamp takes place virtually for two full days: Saturday the 26th – Sunday the 27th of April, 2025
9:30am - 4:30pm MT both days.

You will learn essential skills from Relational Life Therapy (RLT)—the radically effective approach to relationship therapy created by internationally-recognized therapist and bestselling author, Terry Real. RLT is known for its ability to spark profound, lasting change in individuals and their relationships, and these skills will help you build and sustain meaningful connections.

You will learn through a combination of lecture, small group exercises, and personal reflections

Where will this event take place?
From the comfort of your own home, virtually over Zoom.

How does it work?
Once you register for the event through our system, you will be connected with Christie. She will be in touch with the zoom link. Just click the link at the time of the event, and join the Bootcamp! Having your camera on is required for you to connect with the facilitators and other participants. It also allows us to create safety in our group.

How much does it cost?
If purchased through our website, the workshop costs $450 per person to attend for the full two days. If you register as a pair, the cost is $850 for two.

What is Relational Life Therapy?
Relational Life Therapy (RLT) is Terry Real’s radical approach to couples therapy that breaks many of the rules of traditional couples therapy. A former senior faculty member of the Family Institute of Cambridge in Massachusetts and a retired Clinical Fellow of the Meadows Institute in Arizona, Terry is renowned for his ability to save couples on the brink of divorce using the progressive approach he created, Relational Life Therapy.

Terry has trained thousands of mental health practitioners in his RLT method to date, including the RLT Bootcamp Facilitators running this workshop, all through his esteemed training school, the Relational Life Institute.
