Hello! My name is Lisa Rivers (she/they). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist certified in Relational Life Therapy and Relationship Skills Bootcamps. I am a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, with a long history of grassroots activism and philanthropy aimed at fostering safety, inclusion, and empowerment within the community. With years of experience in Relational Life Therapy, I have worked to help LGBTQ+ individuals, partners, and families build stronger, more resilient relationships. My work extends beyond therapy, actively supporting organizations that fight for LGBTQ+ equality, mental health access, and community-building initiatives. The Relationship Bootcamp takes place in Greenville, South Carolina for two full days: Saturday the 24th – Sunday the 25th of May, 2025
9am-5pm ET both days.

You will learn essential skills from Relational Life Therapy (RLT)—the radically effective approach to relationship therapy created by internationally-recognized therapist and bestselling author, Terry Real. RLT is known for its ability to spark profound, lasting change in individuals and their relationships, and these skills will help you build and sustain meaningful connections.

You will learn through a combination of lecture, small group exercises, and personal reflections.

What is Relational Life Therapy?
Relational Life Therapy (RLT) is Terry Real’s radical approach to couples therapy that breaks many of the rules of traditional couples therapy. A former senior faculty member of the Family Institute of Cambridge in Massachusetts and a retired Clinical Fellow of the Meadows Institute in Arizona, Terry is renowned for his ability to save couples on the brink of divorce using the progressive approach he created, Relational Life Therapy.

Terry has trained thousands of mental health practitioners in his RLT method to date, including the RLT Bootcamp Facilitators running this workshop, all through his esteemed training school, the Relational Life Institute.
