Carrie Alison Maloney DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT
Carrie brings an entrepreneurial mind-set with a particular expertise in strategic planning and growth. She has deep experience as a senior leader advancing the goals and objectives of organizations all over the world that benefit underserved populations, wildlife and biodiversity of the planet In 2016, Carrie launched Carrie Alison Projects, a boutique development firm, with a specific emphasis on resource growth and expansion as well as capacity building for non-profit organizations. Carrie’s over 16 years of strategic fundraising experience includes all aspects of planning and execution with an emphasis on major gifts, corporatesponsorships, grants, and marketing. Her approach is unique because she fuses the traditional strategy of fundraising with an entrepreneurial style that results in diversified revenue and awareness for theorganizations she represents. She is from the Northeast and lives on West Coast, with a professional network that is global in reach.
Prior to this role, Carrie served as CEO and President of Imagine1day, founded by Chip and Summer Wilson, founders of lululemon. Imagine1day provides quality schools, education, and leadership development to people in Ethiopia. While there, Carrie worked with villages in rural Ethiopia, ensuring they had access to quality education. In addition, Carrie also served as the Executive Director for the Sager Family Foundation’s micro-enterprise programs for women in under-resourced countries in Africa and the Middle East. Carrie serves on the Advisory Board of Return to Freedom wild horse and burro.
