Dr. Talea Cornelius, PhD, MSW, MS RESEARCH STATISTICIAN
Talea Cornelius, PhD, MSW, MS, is a social and behavioral health psychologist and Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Cornelius conducts research on the social embeddedness of health and health behaviors, with a focus on patient and partner interdependence surrounding acute medical events such as heart attack or stroke. She is also interested in the intersection of psychedelic therapies and social relationships. Dr. Cornelius has additional expertise in methodology, biostatistics, and mechanism-focused intervention research.
