We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Black Therapists Rock and their founder, Deran Young.
We believe that RLT is a vital tool for our culture, our communities, and the human race. We plan to lean in when it may be uncomfortable, to ask hard questions, and adapt to meet the world and individuals we intend to serve. And to do so skillfully. The Relational Life Foundation is committed to creating a culture of belonging for all. Deran Young and her team of professional DEIB specialists will provide extensive training to both Relational Life Foundation and Relational Life Institute leadership, staff, and faculty to ensure we provide a truly welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who comes through our doors. These consultants will also advise us as we implement programming, to ensure we are being extremely thoughtful and acting with intention. As part of this partnership, the entire Relational Life Community will be offered an in-depth diversity training series through our Community Conversation Series, led by Deran and joined by expert panelists. We will be hosting an RLT Relationship Bootcamp in the D.C. Metro Area specifically for Black Therapists Rock Members on October 14-15, 2023. Registration details to come. Together with Black Therapists Rock we will work towards more skillfully advancing our mission of bringing RLT tools and support to a diverse range of financially and socially disadvantaged populations.
