Welcome to the Facets of Connection Podcast: Where we are shifting how we learn, love and collaborate!
This exclusive conversation series features intimate discussions with leaders and luminaries to help you cultivate deeper connections in your life. We’ll explore why and how respectful relationships transform our quality of life and are essential to being human.
We live in an increasingly siloed world, governed by individualism and a sense of competition. Our mission here is to actively oppose the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation, by giving you tools to thrive across all your relationships— be it with yourself, partners, children, the environment or the natural world. While this topic is heavy, we are committed to approaching it with curiosity, openness, passion and action.
A note from our host, Sarah Melissa Oswald:
"Throughout my 15 years of studying and teaching relationship skills, I have come to believe that healthy, respectful relationships are central to everything we are striving toward as human beings. I have a desire to improve the world for future generations by showing how important meaningful connections are, and to move our world toward what one of my teachers, Terry Real, calls "ecological humility", which means to see others and to treat others as part of our own biosphere. Only by recognizing that we are not separate from one another will we be able to create a world that is better for everyone."
Together, we will explore what relationships mean in this ever changing world – how we can support and love each other while staying true to ourselves.
Facets of Connection is brought to you by Relational Life Foundation and hosted by Sarah Melissa Oswald.
