Our Bootcamps are 2 day, in-person community workshops designed to be accessible and affordable.
Through a combination of lecture, role-play, small group exercises, and personal work, participants will learn how to:
Be connected and protected in relationships
Recognize the Five Losing Strategies™
Practice the Five Winning Strategies™
Develop healthy listening and responding skills
Identify where they get stuck the most with their (current or past) partner
Transform their relationship into one that is based on compassion, collaboration and closeness
WHO BENEFITS FROM THE RLT RELATIONSHIP SKILLS BOOTCAMP?
All individuals and couples, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, ability, religion, culture, age, relationship configuration and financial means are welcome. The registration fee is kept intentionally within reach for those with limited financial capacity.
WHY IS YOUR CONTRIBUTION IMPORTANT?
It costs upwards of $15,000 to coordinate and host a Bootcamp. The expenses below are based on what it actually costs (not what participants pay). Since our Bootcamp Program is currently in the launch stage, preparing a Bootcamp for each new community requires time, effort and coordination. We must immerse ourselves in these various communities to learn and understand the culture and discover where openings can be woven in among potential barriers. We also work to build partnerships with local organizations to help inform the community, spread the word, and inspire individuals and couples to attend.
If you'd like to sponsor an entire Bootcamp Workshop, or discuss becoming a Major Donor, please reach out to us directly:
Here’s what some Bootcamp participants had to say about their experience:
“My partner and I both came out of relationships and families with poor communication skills. This course helped give us the tools needed to discuss openly and not react.” -Nathan, Denver CO
“I feel so grateful for this course. It helped me understand myself and my partner more and from a deeper place (adaptive child). I feel I will be going back out into the world with a new lens!” -Janelle, Denver CO
